Begins at 7PM. • This is the last meeting to order throws from remaining items available.   Tuesday, December 18, 2007 General Membership Meeting   • This is the final meeting prior to our Ball. • Obtain additional Ball tickets from Bob Brown at this meeting.   Saturday December 22, 2007 Krewe of Excalibur Ball   • 2008 Mardi Gras Bal Masque and Supper Dance is scheduled for the New Orleans Hilton Hotel. • The ball will be held on Saturday December 22, 2007. • 7:00 pm doors open • 8:00 pm "Sharp" tableau begins - No one will be allowed to enter the ballroom once the tableau begins. • 9:30 dinner served • 10:00 Dancing begins until 2:00 am. Music provided by "Louisiana Spice" • Dress is strictly formal. Floor length evening gowns and full tuxedo only. No pants or ankle gowns. • Admission is free to all members participating in the Ball. • Nonparticipants and guests price is $100.00 per person. BYOL • Contact your float lieutenant or an officer for tickets.   Saturday January 12, 2008 - Throw Distribuin Day   • Throw distribution will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Kenner. • Distribution will be from 11AM to 3PM • Additional unsold items will be available. • Contact Steve Schneller at 504-888-1811 (H) or 504-400-3778 (C) for any additional information.   FRIDAY January 25, 2008: Krewe of Excalibur Parade   • Floats are scheduled to by in position by 1PM. • Float loading will begin after 1PM when lineup is completed and floats are in place. • Parade headquarters for this year is the Jefferson Orleans on Edenborn between I10 and Veterans. • Bus transportation will depart the Jefferson Orleans at 4PM for the ride to Lakeside Shopping Center for second line and king cake cutting. • The busses will take riders from Lakeside to Clearview Shopping Center for float boarding. • Busses will pick up riders at the end of the parade and return to the Jefferson Orleans for the after parade party. • Parade begins at 7:00 PM. • After parade party will be 10PM to 1:30AM; open bar   Mardi Gras Day is February 05, 2008Future Parade Dates   • 2009 Krewe of Excalibur Parade is Friday night February 13th Mardi Gras is February 24, 2009.                                                                                 All graphics, photos and site content © 2000-2008 Krewe of Excalibur.
